"We had such a fabulous day at our wedding at Chapel Down. We got married in the herb garden which was looking beautiful, and then enjoyed canapes and bubbly (Chapel Down sparking wine, of course) before heading into the restaurant and enjoying a fabulous meal. All our guests commented on the superb quality of the food, which was really important to us as good eating and drinking are a big part of our lives. The staff were wonderful, just the right mix of professional and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Neil and his team are to be commended for superb service.

We couldn't have done it without Kate's help. Her vision and experience allowed us to plan the wedding we wanted without having to worry whether we'd forgotten anything, and her friendliness immediately put us at ease and let us know we'd chosen the right venue. In all, we could not have asked for better, it was just a perfect day for us and our family and friends. Many weeks later, our guests are still raving about the day..."

"Kate, your management of the day at Park House was absolutely faultless and beyond... Everything was so perfectly organised from little details like thinking to put the silver candlestick on the champagne bar under the old oak (how beautiful was that) through to the fact that mark and I were blissfully unaware of the issues you were having with the electricity! And you were so much fun to plan and work with, as I said to you the first time I met you, your enthusiasm was infectious! Jose - the food was just incredible and every single guest marvelled at how on earth you managed to ensure that the beef was so perfectly cooked despite the number of guests and being off site! It was melt in your mouth quality... The food was all so beautifully presented too and as for the croquenbouche - wow!! It was such a delicious wedding cake - those early hours you spent at park house on friday morning were so worth it for the looks of ecstasy on faces of the guests as they were eating it!

Lara and the whole team were just so fantastic. They were so attentive to all the guests and every course was served so beautifully and meticulously. And when Mark spilt a cosmo over his Prada shirt (inevitable when dancing with a cocktail), a waiter whisked him off and immediately removed it with soda water! Now that's service. And the bartender was just incredible!! The cocktails were to die for and everyone was transfixed - at one point he was spinning napkins! My teenage nieces were in love!"

Chapel Down Crew - you guys are amazing and we really feel that you are one big family. Thank you so much for all your hard work in giving us two such special days. Now that we have a taste for parties at Park House these are definitely on the agenda going forward!

"Our hearts and feet have just now come back to earth. The wedding breakfast you and your marvelous staff, including Kate and Lisa, provided for us on Saturday was more than amazing. All the pre-wedding help was awesome...even the food tasting day was "yummy" and fun! On the day, your staff served with such professionalism and elegance. Everything was perfect not to mention the fantastic food. Many of our guests are still raving about the evening meal as 'beyond anything they had ever experienced before'. And thanks for helping us so much with all the crazy table decorations and the special music needs. The whole evening was brilliant!!"

All anyone on our table talked about about was the food and how gorgeous it was, we couldn't wait for each dish. We only had to eat here once to know it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. I couldn't have wished for more, wonderful wine and fantastic food!

Chapel down restaurant made planning our wedding, joyful and stress free. Kate and Chapel Down did everything to meet our expectations and then so much more to exceed them. We loved every minute of planning our reception, Kate made it so easy - in the end it was perfect.

The venue was idyllic and perfect, Chapel Down is the place to celebrate any special day. Between the location, garden, food and decor Chapel Down is like no other venue. Beautiful setting, superb food, gorgeous decor and fab staff, it ticked all our boxes!

'Wow, what a venue! We chose Chapel Down for the romance of the rose and herb garden and the superb food and wine offered by Richard Phillips. I cannot praise the staff enough for their professionalism and dedication in making our day so special. Right from the planning stage Chapel Down took away the pressure of organising a wedding resulting in a truly unforgettable day. Finally, if you are struggling for ideas for a cake with a difference plead with José to make you a croque en bouche, stunning!!'
