Who said planning a wedding was stressful? At Chapel Down, from the moment you call us, to when you get back from your honeymoon, we make sure the planning process is actually an enjoyable one.

Managed by Kate and Alex, themselves experienced wedding planners, the process will involve regular meetings (well if you call a glass of bubbly in the bar a meeting...) to make sure they get it spot on for you. Always worth letting the girls know if you are on a tight schedule though. They do have a tendency to get quite excited about weddings...

Richard heads up the hospitality team, including the Head Chef and waiting staff, all of whom he has trained to his exacting standards and who, it has been commented, appear to float in and out of the reception, going almost unnoticed.

Head Chef Jose has worked with Richard for over ten years and is also known for his creativity. You must ask him about his 'croque en bouche' - it's his masterpiece and hugely entertaining at a wedding.

Don't think, however, that this process finishes when you leave the venue for the first time as a married couple... the girls will invite you back to the Restaurant for lunch when you are home form your honeymoon. They might tell you it's all in aid of valuable feedback, but don't be fooled - they want a nosey through your wedding pictures and have a good old catch up (and maybe another glass of bubbly...).
